How to Save Game Replays in Company of Heroes Online (CoHO) and Watch Them Later

Did you know?  CoHO has replays!  And now you can view them with ease using the new CoHO Replay Launcher!

You can download the CoHO Replay Launcher from http://www.chalicegames.com/ReplayLauncher.exe

How does it work?  Simple!  It's a standalone application - just run it from anywhere and it should show you a list of all the replay files in your CoHO playback directory.  Double-click one of them to launch it.

If you would like to provide additional arguments with your replay, such as -window or -multiple_instances, simply type the arguments in the textfield before launching.  All arguments are completely optional.

You can even associate .rec files with it though Windows, which will allow you to launch replays by simply double-clicking them within Windows explorer.

By default, CoHO stores its replay files in as:
C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes Online\playback\temp.rec

Between games, you can go rename temp.rec to something else to prevent it from being overwritten by your next game.  Alternatively, you can change the line:
  • PostGameBehavior = skippostgamestats
to
  • PostGameBehavior = showpostgamestats
in your RelicCoHO.module file in order to enable the post-game stats screen.  This screen, which shows up after each game, has a handy "Save Replay" button on it, which will make it a bit easier to manage your replay files.
