Disable IE Options To Restrict Settings Access With IE Option Disabler

IE Option Disabler is a portable tool for restricting users on a computer from changing Internet Explorer settings. The available options allow disabling, restricting and hiding certain options such as Privacy, Internet Options, General tab and the like. This can be helpful in making sure that other users on a shared computer do not mess up IE settings.

Launch IE Option Disabler and select the Internet Explorer options to restrict. You can;

Restrict Users from changing Internet Options

Disable Accessibility Option in General tab

Disable Advanced tab options.

Disable Automatic Configuration for LAN Settings

Restrict Users from Channing Temporary Internet File Settings, calendar, contact list and Content tab options.

Disable Internet Connection Wizard

Hide General and Privacy Tabs

When a user tries to access a restricted option, an error appears displaying information regarding the blocked feature. To re-enable an option, launch IE option Disabler and uncheck the respective checkbox.
