This free app is for those who like to customize, tweak, and generally place their individual mark on everything that has to do with their computer. The program does exactly what it says: it changes the logon screen in Windows 7, the user icon, the logon text branding, as well as a handful of other details. It will even let you add your own custom message to the logon screen.

I will admit this: I NEVER felt any desire to change my logon screen, ever. But I did give this a shot, and have two things to say about it

1. It works really well, is very well laid out from a user-experience point of view, and can tweak most everything that has to do with the logon screen. (And is portable software).
2. I have found that having a nice, new logon screen is not at all a bad idea, especially now that spring is (hopefully) finally upon us
